Oh Fred, I love those eggs. Some of them look like quails eggs. Maybe all are quails eggs, which I believe change colour (rather, the hen birds lay them in different colours) to suit the background. (Did I read that or am I making it up? I can't remember). It's a received wisdom anyway. Maybe it's another bird. Baby quail are like bumble bees. Surprisingly big egg for such a little bird.
Could you bring that basket and come over here - you could decorate my house for Easter while I'm at work. I'd act surprised on my return. What a concept!
